Paddle Rolls Out Developer Tools, New Currencies, and Checkout Upgrades
Paddle has shipped a wave of product updates aimed at making it easier for developers to build on its Merchant of Record platform and for software companies to reach more global customers. On the developer experience front, Paddle launched an AI-native documentation portal, a remote MCP server, Claude Code plugin support, and ready-to-use React UI components — all designed to accelerate integration work. The platform has also expanded its currency support to include the Chilean Peso and Peruvian Sol, broadening its reach across Latin America, while adding Apple Pay express checkout to streamline the purchase flow. Additional updates include PayPal transaction detail retrieval, a metrics API endpoint, South Korean subscription renewal consent visibility, and improvements to payout reconciliation reporting.
